Kitsworld - 1/48 Scale Luftwaffe Squadron Fighter Markings
  £10.20

KW148186 Luftwaffe Squadron Fighter Markings

Luftwaffe Squadron Fighter Markings of the Luftwaffe.
This sheet includes markings of the major Luftwaffe Units operating across Europe and North Africa from 1940 to 1945. As well as unit insignia, individual pilot rank markings used generally on Luftwaffe fighters throughout the conflict are also included along with various styles of 'kill' markings. As the scope of this sheet is vast it is suggested that the modeller use their own references to complete the livery of choice, the idea of this set being to allow the modeller the option to complete schemes not generally available or to make up squadron mates to more well-known aircraft to complete 'Kette' etc.

KW148187 Me262 Schwalbe Specilaists Set 2

Me 262 A-1a of Generalleutnant Adolf Galland, JV 44, Munich-Riem 1945.
Me 262 A-1a Karl-Heinz Becker. 10/NJG.
Me 262 A-1a of Lt. Franz Schall, Staffelkapitan 10./ JG 7, Parchim 1945.
Me 262 A-1a Leutnant Franz Schall, Kommando Nowotny, Achmer, October 1944.

Messerschmitt Me262A-1a This pack contains a waterslide decal sheet and decoration guide for 4 aircraft models for the Messerschmitt Me262A-1a twin-jet fighter. Concept and design work started on the Me262 as early as 1939 but, as Germany seemed to be easily conquering country after country, it's developent was not seen as a priority. It wasn't until the advent of mass daylight bomber formations of the Eighth Air Force and improved allied fighter designs including the long-range P51D Mustang, that a requirement for a superior performing fighter was needed. The Me262 proved a shock for the allies as it had at least a 100mph advantage over the best allied fighters then in service. Luckily for the allies, it was never produced in large enough numbers nor were the pilots coming through the insufficient training programs up to scratch, barely able to fly, let a lone handle such an advanced aircraft. Full potential was only realised by the all to few 'experten' that flew the type from 1944 to the end of the conflict represented by the schemes included in this decal set.

KW148194 Kil Markings

'Kill' Markings This handy little sheet contains a broad selection of Allied fighter 'Kill' markings for use on the major fighter aircraft of the European and Pacific Theatres. These include the several styles of German insignia widely used to represent downed Luftwaffe aircraft, some typical Japanese symbol styles and a few of the rarer anti-tank/anti shipping symbols sometimes found on Coastal Command and Low Level Strike fighters.
Variations in size will be found allowing for the variations encountered as these were non-standard markings individually applied by the squadrons concerned. The larger symbols can also be used on 1:48 as well as 1:32 scale models.

KW148211 Lockheed/Martin F35B Lightnings of the RAF and Fleet Air Arm

Lockheed/Martin F35B Lightnings of the RAF and Fleet Air Arm.
This sheet includes markings to complete a selection of F35B aircraft currently gearing up for service entry into Britain's armed forces.
At time of decal sheet production, the F35B was in the process of being introduced to 17 & 617 (Dambusters) squadrons RAF and 809 squadron, Fleet Air Arm. As such, the decal sheet includes enough options to cover all of the serials to model any future aircraft as well as those currently known. Speculative squadron crests/insignias have also been provided to give a little individuality to an otherwise understated livery - a sign of these low-observable times!
