Application Instructions & History

Boeing Flying Fortress B-17F-25-DL, 42-3082, 'Double Trouble', was flown by Lt William Winnesheik, 333 BS/94 BG, Rougham, England, in October 1943.
This B-17 was assigned to the unit from 10 June 1943 to 4 October 1943, when it crash landed at Margate, England, after a combat mission to St. Dizier, France.
She was salvaged after the crash and in spite of the amazing nose art never flew again.
Application Instructions
Kitsworld Water-slide Decals are printed on the highest quality decal paper, made up of a water-soluble adhesive and printed on a light blue backing paper.

How to Apply Water-slide Decals.
1). Cut around the decal.
2). Using the tweezers, pick up the decal and put it on the surface of the water - it may curl or sink, but this is normal.
3). Take the decal from the water and place it on a paper towel allowing any excess moisture to drain.
4). If using decal solutions then paint the first decal solution onto the scale model, at the point where you intend to stick the decal.
5). Use a paint brush or tweezers to pick up the decal and place it onto the surface.
6). Once the decal is in position dab a clean paper towel on the decal to soak up any left over water.
7). Leave the decal to dry, once completely dry a thin layer of gloss or matte varnish can be applied.
